Demo Midi FilesIntroductionThe books listed on this page were originally sold some years ago with an accompanying "Matching General MIDI floppy disk". Unfortunately they are now no longer sold with these Midi files. These Midi files are professionally produced and designed to provide a rich accompaniment to the piano part. One or two demo samples of these Midi files for each of these books is available on this page. The Complete Piano PlayerThe Complete Piano Player series is suitable for the complete beginner and quickly teaches the skills needed to read music and play the piano up to an intermediate level. Some of the pieces are now quite dated but overall it is is very enjoyable way of learning. When supplied with a General Midi floppy disk, Book 1 included 38 Midi files, Book 2 included 30 Midi files and Book 3 included 27 Midi files.

It's Easy To Play BooksThe Easy to play books are not suitable for complete novice as there is no tutorial. The pieces are quite challenging and at the same time very satisfying. The original MIDI arrangements are very well done and it is great fun playing along to them. When supplied with a General Midi floppy disk, Easy Play Beethoven included 8 Midi Files, and Easy Play Mozart also included 8 Midi files.

Chester's Easiest Piano CourseThese books are primarily aimed at children, they have very easy midi parts that gradually increase in difficulty. When supplied with a General Midi floppy disk, Book 1 included 23 Midi Files, Book 2 included 30 Midi files and Book 3 included 38 Midi files.
